What is the Venture Vetted Sitter list?
Our clients often ask us for referrals for sitters for travel care or after-hours care, since here at Venture we are dog walking only. The Venture Vetted Sitter list is a free resource we provide to our client-base of referrals to local vetted pet sitters for the times you need extra help outside of our hours of operation!
What assurances do I have about the Venture Vetted Sitter referrals?
Sitters on the list are required to apply to our program, submit proof of insurance, participate in a background check, and also maintain a 4-star feedback rating (out of 5 stars) from our clients to be able to be on the list. We ask our clients to give us feedback every time they work with a sitter on our list, in order to maintain the integrity of our referrals.
Please note that the list of Venture-Vetted Sitters is maintained as a convenience for our clients, but Venture Dog Walking does not assume any responsibility or liability for pet sitting services provided by Venture-Vetted Sitters.
How often do I have to use YOUR services as a client to get access to this list?
We provide this list as a free resources to our clients to help with their pet parenting journey! Our ask: please use our dog walking services at least two times a month. This helps offset the cost to administer the program. (Plus we would really like to see your dog!)
I don’t have time to contact Sitters on the list to see if they are available - can you do it for me?
We are happy to make suggestions for sitters that you may enjoy working with if you would like to reach out to us at sitterprogram@venturedogwalking.com. However, we do not facilitate any of the actual booking for you - all communicate about the actual engagement would need to be directly between you and the sitter themselves.
